Guide to Federal Pharmacy Law

This book has been prepared to assist you in making your review of federal pharmacy law as simple and painless as possible. This Guide is divided into fourteen sections. Within some sections there are simple questions similar to the type that may be seen on the MPJE . Answers to these questions are provided immediately following questions. In this edition we have made some important additions, including pharmacy-related components of the massive Health Care Reform Bill of 2010, Electronic Prescriptions for Controlled Substances (EPCS), a comprehensive review of the newly updated Medicare Part D Regulations, and many other changes that have occurred since the last edition. At the end of this Guide are over 300 multiple-choice questions that cover the federal statutes, rules and regulations addressed by this book. Readers are encouraged to tackle these questions only after they have completed studying the contents of this Guide. This will serve as a practice examination that will help to identify areas of weakness that require further study. Answers to these questions may be found at the very end of the question section.
