Forensic DNA Nalysis: A Laboratory Manual is to introduce the student to the science of DNA typing methods by focusing on basic techniques used in forensic DNA laboratories. This laboratory manual is designed to provide the student with a fundamental understanding of forensic DNA analysis as well as a thorough background of the molecular techniques used to determine an individual's identity or parental lineage. This manual is intended to challenge the student with the methodology of the investigation in DNA typing, help the student develop an understanding of the scientific principles involved in DNA analysis, and ensure the student is abel to nalyze and interpret the data that are generated in each exercise with clarity and confidence.
