"Evaluasi Penerapan Sml Iso14001Terhadap Kinerja Pengelolaan Air Dan Air Limbah Di Pt. Bridgestone Tire Indonesia Bekasi Plant"
PT.
menghasilkan limbah. Pendekatan SML ISO 14001 menjadi upaya dalam menangani
persoalan lingkungan yang diakibatkan oleh industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengevaluasi penerapan SML ISO 14001 melalui kesesuaian penerapan SML ISO
air yaitu 62,14%.

ABSTRACT
PT. Bridgestone Tire Indonesia Bekasi Plant is the tire industry demanding
the needs of water in large quantities, while at the same time generating waste. The
ISO 14001 EMS approach becomes an effort in addressing environmental issues
caused by the industry. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of ISO
14001EMS through the comformity of ISO 14001EMS with the requirements of SNI-
14001-2005standard, the performance efficiency of Wastewater Treatment Plant,
efficient uses of raw water as well as the economic benefits of wastewater treatment
plant and raw water treatment plant.
This study uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods called
mixed methods. Primary data collection through field monitoring and interviews
aimed at evaluating the implementation of ISO 14001EMS. Secondary data in the
form of industrial wastewater quality measurement and water usage by comparing
before and after implementation of ISO 14001EMS.
The result of research shows that PT. BSINB has established and implemented
environmental policies in accordance with SNI ISO 19-14001-2005. Implementation
of ISO 14001 EMS can improve of wastewater treatment plant performance where
parameters of TDS, TSS, pH, BOD5, COD, NH3 along with oil and fat have increased
efficiency percentage ranges from 5% - 83%. The use of Water Treatment Plant can
reduce the percentage of water loss in tire produvtion activities with an average of
43% compared to PDAM and ground water use, resulting in an increase in the
percentage of water use efficiency in tire production activities with an average value
of 77,57%. The implementation of ISO 14001 EMS provides benefits for wastewater
treatment economics with the lowest cost effectiveness ratio on TDS parameter of
Rp 10 per gram. In addition, the implementation of ISO 14001 also provides benefits
in the form of net water cost savings from the use of water treatment plant facilities
with an average percentage of water saving cost savings of 62,14%.
