Hubungan Literasi Informasi Dengan Self-Regulated Learning Siswa : Studi Korelasi mengenai Hubungan Literasi Informasi dengan Self-Regulated Learning pada Siswa Kelas XI dan XII SMAN 68 Jakarta
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan literasi informasi dengan self-regulated learningsiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diadaptasi dari model literasi informasi The Big6dari Eisenberg dan Berkowitz (1988, 2000) untuk mengukur literasi informasi siswa dan Self-Regulated Learning Interview Schedule(SRLIS) dari Zimmerman & Pons(1986,1989)untuk mengukur self-regulated learningsiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis korelasional menggunakan analisis korelasi Rank Spearman.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI dan XII SMAN 68 Jakarta yangberjumlah 576 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah stratified random sampling(samping acak berstrata). Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 120 orang siswayang terdiri dari 60 orang siswa kelas XI dan 60 orang siswa kelas XII. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara literasi informasi dengan self-regulated learningsiswa kelas XIdan XII SMAN 68 Jakarta denganhubungan yang cukup (rs=0,579)dan arah hubungankedua variabelyang positif dan berbanding lurus. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi informasi dapat meningkatkan self-regulated learningsiswa meskipun tidakmenjadi faktor utama, melainkan terdapat beberapa aspek lain yang turut meningkatkan self-regulated learning siswa seperti motivasisiswadan sinergi antarasekolah, guru dan siswa dalam mendorong kemandirian belajar siswa..Selain itu,literasi informasi hanya berkaitandengan beberapa strategiself-regulated learningyang melibatkan informasi, perencanaan, dan evaluasi dalam belajar Kata Kunci: Literasi Informasi, Self-Regulated Learning, Siswa, Pendidikan
ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to find out therelationship ofinformation literacy and student self-regulated learning. The instrument used in this study was adapted from the information literacy model of The Big6 from Eisenberg and Berkowitz (1988, 2000) to measure student’s information literacy andThe Self-Regulated Learning Interview Schedule (SRLIS) from Zimmerman & Pons(1986,1989)to measure student self-regulated learning. The research method used in this study is quantitative with correlational analysis techniques using Rank Spearman correlation analysis. The population in this study were students of gradeXI and XII of SMAN 68 Jakarta, totaling 576 students. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling. Respondents in this study amounted to 120 students consisting of 60 students of gradeXI and 60 students of gradeXII. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between information literacy and self-regulated learning of gradeXI and XII students of SMAN 68 Jakarta with a significant relationshipwith moderate correlation (rs=0,579)and the direction of the relationship between the twovariablesarepositive and directly proportional. The conclusions from this study indicate that information literacy can improve student self-regulated learning even though it is not a main factor, but there are other severalaspects that can contribute to improving student self-regulated learning such as students' motivation andschool, teacher, and student synergies in encouraging students’independent learning.Furthemore, information literacy is only related to several self-regulated learning strategies that involveinformation, planning and evaluation in learning.Keyword:Information Literacy,Self-Regulated Learning,Students, Education
