[SKRIPSI] HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENERIMAAN TERHADAP PENYAKIT DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS DI KOTA CIREBON
"ABSTRACT
Health status and quality of life are important in patients undergoing treatment. Tuberculosis is one of the highest chronic illness caused by death in the world which requires regular treatment to recover. Tuberculosis patients experience various kinds of impacts such as: physical, economic, social, spiritual and psychological. The impact that is felt makes the patient have a positive or negative perception of the disease. The patient's perception of the disease has a high influence on the quality of life and is one of the psychological indicators that can reflect the patient's quality of life. The purpose of this study was to see whether there was a relationship between acceptance of illness and quality of life in tuberculosis patients in Cirebon City. This study used a correlational quantitative approach involving 43 tuberculosis participants, using a purposive sampling technique. The measuring instruments were Acceptance of Illness (AIS) and WHOQOL-BREF, was filled in using paper and pencil.
The results obtained from this study are that there is a significant correlation between acceptance of illness and the quality of life in general (r = 0.4, p-value
