Analysis of Changes in Periapical Exposure Settings Osseointegration Dental Implant in Rabbit Tibia
Introduction: The choice of exposure setting plays an important role in
obtaining a quality radiographic image so that it can affect the assessment of
osseointegration. Periapical radiography is a technique that can be used in the
assessment of dental implant. The purpose of this study was to analyze changes in
the exposure setting the periapical plane to the assessment of dental implant in the
rabbit tibia and to obtain exposure setting . Methods: A quasi-experimental carried
out on the tibia bone of rabbits that had been installed with dental implants for 28
days from the previous study. The sample selection in this study used a purposive
sampling technique and obtained a sample of 23 periapical radiographic images of
the rabbit tibia bone that had been installed with dental implants for 28 days with
each image having exposure setting .data was tested for normality using the
Shapiro-Wilk test. Qualitative assessment was carried out by Mann-Whitney and
quantitative assessment was carried out by one-way ANOVA and Post-hoc tests.
Results: Assessment image using the MannWhitney test (0.001
