Telah dilakukan sintesis PAHIDA dan penandaannya dengan radionuklida 99mTc. Sintesis dilakukan dengan mereaksikan asam p-aminohipurat dan asam nitrilotriasetat. PAHIDA yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT), Kromatografi Cair Kinerja Tinggi (KCKT), dan Spektroskopi Infra Merah (IM).
